I know, I know I'm wearing the green jumper I wore only a few posts ago. In fairness I've not written a post for over a week now so that makes it okay doesn't it?? There's not really much of a reason as to why I haven't posted for a while apart from that I've just been very very busy!
It's been years since I've worn a hat, well years since I've worn one for a whole day so today will be a test. I literally have no idea where I bought it from, but I do remember the first time I wore it back in 6th form. Someone said to me I looked like I had a tea cosey on my head and then pointed and laughed so I never wore it again - until now! I'm usually a hat person, mainly because I hate hate hate having hat hair. It's not a good look and my hair goes greasy quickly enough as it is without the extra help of a hat. There's also the fact that I'm still mortified by the comment from back in 6th form too...
On another note I very recently hopped on the bandwagon and decided to purchase a few BarryM Gelly Hi Shine polishes. To be honest I'm not really sure what the huge fuss is about though? Don't get me wrong the colours in the collection are gorgeous but I don't feel as though the finish is any different to what I would class as a 'normal finish'. Am I the only one that thinks this??
Application is easy as always with BarryM polishes and it only needs two coats for a full opaque colour. I think there's currently offers on at both Boots and Superdrug for these so grab em' quick if you're after some cute spring pastel colours!

(Image right shows 'Blueberry' Shade - base coat, two coats of colour and no top coat)
As you can tell I do love BarryM very much. They're great value for money and the finish and longevity is usually really good. I bought 'Greenberry', 'Blueberry' and 'Lychee'. Beth over at Birds Words did a brilliant post on these recently (which is the main reason why I bought these hehe) and she has some great swatch pictures so if you're thinking of adding one of these to your collection and aren't too sure which colour to pick, it's well worth having a look at Beth's post!
